1)
Agency
Responsibilities
a)
To complete designated editing tasks competently within the agreed
time frame.
b)
To meet reasonable deadlines set by the client.
c)
To recommend alternative editing services if material falls
outside our expertise.
d)
To refuse work deemed unachievable within the specified time
frame.
e)
To refuse offensive assignments or those we deem beyond our
abilities.
f)
To refuse liability for any consequences of your content.
g)
To complete editing tasks as accurately as possible.
h)
To adhere to formatting guidelines you specify.
i)
To attempt to complete work within the negotiated price range.
2)
Client's
Responsibilities
a)
To review all work completed and accept or reject changes.
b)
To implement suggestions we make.
c)
To retain full responsibility for the accuracy and validity of
your content.
d)
To retain full responsibility for the structure and logic of your
document.
e)
To comply with copyright law.
f)
To inform us of any local formatting guidelines required by your
institution.
g)
To read, understand, and agree to the terms set out on this page.
3)
Confidentiality
a)
You maintain intellectual property rights to all work submitted
for editing.
b)
Your confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
c)
Your files will be kept for up to six months after completion of
the project.
4)
Satisfaction
a)
We strive for excellence.
b)
Our aim is to deliver a clearly written, well edited, and coherent
document in the required format.
c)
If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us to discuss
alternatives for meeting your needs.
d)
We do not offer warranties of any kind, neither implied nor
explicit.
e)
Fees are associated primarily with labor and are non-refundable.

Pricing
a)
Full
payment is expected before work begins.
b)
Submitting
full payment indicates that you have read and accept the terms of this agreement.
